Welcome to St John's Pre-School

A Private Nursery School In Luton

About Us

At St John’s Pre-School, we’ve been delivering high-quality early years education and childcare for over 40 years.

Situated within St John’s Methodist Church in Luton, our warm and welcoming setting offers a fun, safe, and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to 5 can learn, grow, and thrive.

Proud members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance since 1974, we follow their trusted educational frameworks to nurture and inspire young minds. Our dedicated and qualified team plans a diverse range of activities tailored to each child’s unique interests and developmental needs. We recognise just how important these early years are for building self-confidence, developing social skills, and preparing your child for school life.

Mission Statement

We aim to help children and their families feel welcome and enjoy their time with us. We are a fully inclusive setting with an open-door policy for all.

At St. John’s Pre-school, we have a fully committed safeguarding program. With information available throughout the setting, in welcome packs, and on notice boards for all to view.

At our pre-school, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We monitor children through our trackers, observations, photographs, and enhanced activities to build up individual child profiles. We share development checks with parents and carers, offering ideas to aid a child’s progress at home. Funding is available for 3-4 year olds, the term after their 3rd birthday with extended hours if you meet the criteria. Two year old funding is available, please ask for details.

Our Aim is to Help and Support Every Child
