Private Nursery, St John's Pre-School
Here at St John's Pre-School, we provide quality childcare, with help and support for parents and carers. All staff are trained to NVQ level 3 and our pre-school leader, Julie has completed the Early Years Sector Endorsed Foundation Degree and a B.A to achieve an Early Years Professional status. All staff are DBS checked. We have a dedicated Inclusion coordinator, to offer help and guidance to children and families with any special educational needs.
Children are encouraged to join in with activities laid on by the pre-school. These activities increase vocabulary, confidence, dexterity and social skills.
Our activities are in-line with the Early Years Foundation Stage headings for prime areas, communication and language development, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. This then leads into the specific areas literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive art and designs. We encourage children to learn by playing and exploring, active learning and creating and thinking critically.
